When I need clarity, to clear the fog and reset, this walk along a local sand track to the beach, with sunlight filtering through, illuminating the scrub and the sparkling ocean beckoning in the distance is all that's needed. A place of escape, a place to just be. Painting it gives me so much satisfaction, creating a sense of calm all over again.
