The Wadandi Track, renamed to honour the local Wadandi clan of the Noongar people, runs through the south west bushland, near where I live in Margaret River. The inspiration for this painting was the light filtering through the trees along this track, illuminating sections of the pathway, luring me to keep moving forward, toward that light, in anticipation of what lay beyond.
