This was a typical afternoon at Cowan Cowan on a recent trip there. Mid to late afternoon the wind settled to calm the ocean revealing a spectacular hue of blue, and as the sun lowered over the horizon it cast a pink-orange glow on parts of the sand. It was the best time of day. The soothing sounds of the gentle lapping waves, and a the occasional sights of sea birds was therapy for the soul.
