Looking in another direction along Sawtell Beach gave me unlimited artistic possibilities. The cloudy sky threatening to rain, the beach scrub with varying shades of green and of course the interesting sandy shelf, with tangled beach weed and roots. It was fun using different techniques of wet on wet, wet on dry and dry brush, along with needle thing paint strokes and scratching to create the desired impressionistic affect.
