Meelup Tree

There are just so many beautiful places that inspire painting in the south west of WA and none more so than Meelup Beach near Dunsborough. The sun normally sets over the ocean in WA but because of it's unique location, it faces east and this painting is showing the morning light illuminating the green grass that runs down to the beach, a rare sight on a WA beach.
