I remember clearly being at the base of Dale's gorge in the Karijini national park doing a quick study of this waterfall and thinking it couldn't get much better than this. The welcomed oasis at the base of the gorge is truly a sanctuary from the heat on higher ground. This is a magical place and a feast for the eyes for any artist with an abundance of contrasting colours and textures, which inspired this final piece.
