A Time to Reflect

Wandering through the mangroves across the river gave me time to stop and reflect on the simple things around us that can give us so much pleasure. The sound of the gentle lapping of the river’s edge, the beautiful reflections of the trees and the patterns they create and the light coming from the late afternoon sun illuminating the distance in softness. Reflecting those simple things uncrowds the mind and helps build gratitude.
